@aroughlife Episode 2 is up! Roughside of the Trax Part II

In Part 2 of Johnny’s adventure to Salt Lake City, the “Rough side of the Traxx” contest gets started. But not without some drama with one of Johnny’s Sales Reps who shows up riding the competition’s product. All the riders head out and we get to see chaos on train and the first spot, Dead Goat Ledge.

We’ve been working hard on these, and we appreciate all the support we’ve gotten, especially from the likes of Benny Gold, Lowcard, Typical Culture, and the posts on Slap and other big action sports websites.

Today, we’re audio finishing Episode 3 (the Utah closer, premiering October 20th). Then we’ll get into logging the epic BART Tour 2011 Episodes and putting together questions for Johnny’s spinal interview. The Phoenix (Am) Saga starts on October 27.

If you missed the first Episode you can watch it here now.

It’s a Rough Life dot com is up!

Today we officially launched It’s a Rough Life dot com with a new promo about Johnny Roughneck and why he does all the things he does.

The inaugural season of It’s a Rough Life will be a look into Johnny’s hectic reality through a collection of stories captured over the last two years. Each episode will range from 3-6 minutes.

For more about Johnny Roughneck, and a deeper look into the idea behind It’s a Rough Life, take a look at our Treatment. We want to get people excited about this first season so that we can raise funds to make another one with a full production crew and post pipeline. Our ultimate goal is to turn It’s a Rough Life into a television series.

So check out the site. Like us on Facebook, follow Johnny on Twitter, and stay tuned for lots more antics from the Roughneck squad every Thursday.

New “It’s a Rough Life” Teaser

Check out this sample clip from “It’s a Rough Life“.

We’re gearing up to pitch our reality series about Johnny Roughneck. Part of that process includes cutting together sample scenes and teasers. This is the first. It’s a glimpse into Roughneck Hardware on the road in Arizona for Cowtown Phoenix Am… almost.

In other Roughneck news, Circa is releasing a Roughneck shoe!

The release party is September 13th at DLX in San Francisco, which also happens to be the 13th anniversary of for our friends Roughneck Hardware.

DWNTWN: SOMA Silver Telly Award Winner!

Our promo spot for DWNTWN Skate Supply: SOMA won a Silver Telly in the 32nd annual Telly Awards!

We produced this piece with our friend (and frequent collaborator) Ben from Panhandle Productions, and of course with the help of the Roughneck squad.

A Silver Telly is the highest honor, and we are excited/ honored/ proud of our accomplishment. Thanks to everyone that took part and helped with the video.

We also won three Bronze Tellys this year, but we’ll tell you more about that later. In the meantime, check out Johnny’s new space at Lower Haighters.

Roughneck Caltrain Tour 2010

The 1st Annual Roughneck Caltrain Tour rolled down the Peninsula last weekend. As usual TeamJaded was on the scene documenting every second of it. We will have an edit for you shortly.

Some of you may have noticed that we’re making changes to the site. We’re shifting the emphasis from our blog to showcasing what it is we actually do, namely producing compelling video. To that end, we’re in the middle of a big contract gig with a regular client and we won’t be able to edit Caltrain Tour until we’re finished with that in a couple of weeks.

Please stay tuned. We’ve got a lot cooking at TeamJaded Productions. In fact we’re piloting a reality series with Roughneck Johnny and it’s going to be epic. Check back often.

In the mean time, our friend Christian over at Stick It posted an amazing blog about Caltrain tour that features several pictures of Jeremey looking stupid (and some great skating too.) Check it out.

Phoenix Am

ESPN posted my footage of PHX Am. This time I sent the footage their way to edit which worked out great, cause I’m working on a big job for Next Agenda at the moment and couldn’t cut it myself. Thanks to Adam Salo for hooking it up.

I rolled down to the contest with RNCK crew. If you want to see what was up with that check out my friend Christian’s blog Stick It, he’s got all the photos up there.

Stay tuned for my video of the trip. We’re piloting a RNCK show and I should have it cut up in a few weeks. It’s epic.
