Busy Busy in 2010

TeamJaded has been incredibly busy this year and that’s a GOOD thing.

For the past few months we’ve been working on several projects, the biggest of which is a corporate video contracted through an marketing firm called Giant. It’s an internal video for a client of theirs so we can’t say much more about it than that.

However, we can say that it’s provided us with some amazing opportunities including traveling the country in June producing shoots in Pittsburgh, Denver, and San Diego. All the while Jeremey had a broken ankle and was on crutches, which meant Abby was showing off her lifting skills and carrying literally hundreds of pounds worth of gear. (Abby really stepped up for the entire production process, and made Jeremey’s broken ankle a non-issue.)

One of the coolest things about the project has been the scale. It has been exciting to work with so many people all the way from pre-production through the post pipeline.

We had the pleasure of working with a talented Director of Photography, Mr. TJ Walkup (congrats on the new baby, or congrats soon!). Thanks to TJ we learned about the special media line at some airlines.

We booked a shoot at a fantastic studio in S.F.’s Mission District called the Producers Loft (See all the pictures in this post). Definitely check them out if you have studio or green screen needs (and they offer discounts for socially relevant documentary work).

We’ve had two VO sessions at Voice One in Mission Bay, where we had the pleasure of working with Elaine Clark (who happens to be the mother of an old friend of ours.) We also worked with a talented VO artist named Shannon Riley.

Our friend and incredibly talented motion designer Susan Brennan has provided awesome graphics for the video.

It’s been quite a project and it’s still going. We’re deep in post and in weekly contact with the talented team at Giant, who’ve been fun to travel and work with all the way through.

We’ll have more updates soon about the other projects we’re working on.

Forgot to mention that one our best friends came out of production retirement to help us set-up gear on the shoot in the pic’s above. His name has been withheld from the internet per his request.
